Brad A. Peters, EA, CFP

Brad A. Peters began his business career earning a BA in Business from University of Wisconsin-Madison. After a few years in the business world, Brad continued his education by earning a BBA in Accounting from Western State College in Gunnison, CO. He has spent over 25 years in the accounting business. After working as an auditor and controller for other companies, Brad started his own firm, Peters & Co. in Grand Junction, CO and became an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the Internal Revenue Service.

In 1984, Brad closed his own company and joined Hamrick & Assoc., Inc. A year later, Hamrick asked him to become a partner in the firm. Brad is an Accredited Tax Advisor through the Accreditation Council of Accountancy and Taxation, Inc. In 1989, he became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Presently, Brad is in the Delta office three days a week and operates the Montrose Office the other two days.

Brad, and his wife, reside in Montrose, CO. He has been Past-President and Past-Board Member of the Public Accountants Society of Colorado (PASC) and member of the National Accountants Society (NSA)
